COM 8305 - Media Literacy |
Students examine the reciprocal relationship between culture
and technology in understanding media. Students examine the
socio-cultural, ontological, economic, historical, and
philosophical perspectives relevant for understanding media
as technologies. Through historical and contemporary
examples, students explore media technologies' social
significance.
