COM 2280 - Theories of Persuasion |
Presents the theoretical processes by which
communication influences the attitudes, beliefs, and
behaviors of message recipients. Both rhetorical and
social scientific approaches to persuasion are examined.
Application is made to the areas of advertising, public
relations, politics and health communication.
