Course description:

This course will focus on the physical tools that exist toobtain information about biological macromolecules, with anemphasis on spectroscopic and imaging techiniques(e.g., circular dichroism, fluorescence spectroscopy,FRET, electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy,dynamic light scattering, analytical ultracentrifugation,x-ray crystallography, and surface plasmon resonance).Undergraduate students approved to take CHM-9661require the prerequisite of CHM 4621 or CHM 4610 orCHM 4611. Undergraduates must have permissions toenroll in the graduate course from the Department.
