Fundamental principles of organic chemistry stressing therelation of structure and reactivity from aphysical-chemical viewpoint. Structure and bonding;stereochemistry; acids and bases; electrophilic additionreactions of alkenes, alkynes, and dienes; nucleophilicsubstitution reactions at saturated carbon atoms andelimination reactions leading to alkenes or alkynes.Open to chemistry majors.
