Course description:

The semi-micro techniques include distillation,recrystallization, extraction, sublimation, andchromatography. Synthesis of representative organiccompounds. An introduction to research in organicchemistry, introduction to qualitative organic analysisand practical use of infrared and nuclear magneticresonance spectroscopies.
